Anyone else considering adopting / hiring a surrogate?

Given that divorce laws are biased against men and that women of this generation have unrealistic standards. Having your genetic progeny secured via surrogacy is a viable option. It’s very expensive however, we’re talking about legal costs too. Do have a female relative and social support network with you since if you were to have daughters they would need a female role model to imitate and some gaps in her development can’t be filled by a single father alone.

I might consider surrogacy in my late 20s when I’m financially stable and not in living in the West. Just gotta figure out how my Muslim parents might react to that.

Adoption is a great option. In the modern era, someone to inherit your memes is far more important than someone to inherit your genes.

I got extremely lucky at 19 years old and found a young woman who ticked all of the boxes you mentioned: only one previous partner (who left to join the military after 9/11), good values, Christian, about as level-headed as you'll find in a female, studying to become a pharmacist, wanted a serious long term relationship. We've been together 21 years, are married, and have a son together. She practiced clinical pharmacy for about 15 years and then moved up into hospital administration, so she's a high earner with good benefits.

I don't know how other guys can get serious with trashy women who sleep around and have no direction in their lives. I wouldn't be able to do that.

I heard of a case when the surrogate changed her mind and sued for child support and won. I forgot where that has happened, but Canada sounds like a feminist paradise.

Talk to a lawyer and make sure to cover your bases.

Dating and finding the right person for you takes time. If you have large social circles it may help, you can find people offline. If don't want to go through this I know many peple who adopted and where happy with it.

I’m confused, surrogate for what? Crushing dat ass you’ve been missing out on? You know how expensive adoption is? Shit you’re in Quebec, meaning you’ll pay through the nose for a kid that winds up speaking French! Raw deal, sleep around and find a woman that’s done the same so you have a partner that knows how to twist your lemons right!

Stop calling them candidates, it’s weird as hell. Also I know I’m talking shit about the French thing, but if you make it south of the border you can bank that shit.

Given the damage that can be done to a child raised without a father, I find it exceptionally unlikely that there aren't similar levels of damage done being raised without a mother. What plans do you have for someone to fill that role?
