Adoption and / or surrogacy for single men?

I'm not from there, but from the little I know it's rarely if even possible to adopt when being single (no matter if man or woman)

I am a woman but I hope you don't mind me saying that having a baby at the start can be very hard, both me and my husband struggled at the start and sometimes still do. My advice is to make sure that you have a good support system. It's a good idea if you have someone who you can speak to if you are stressed and can pass the baby off to if you need a breather say if the child has been screaming for hours etc. I wish you all the best in becoming a parent.

Surrogacy for gay and single men is a reproductive right that needs to be talked about more often.

Most countries do not recognize surrogacy contracts unless it's a married couple. So while they won't stop you, there is a big risk of extortion by a surrogate mother )or her family) and they won't allow you relief in court because the contract isn't legally binding.

You should do it though. More men should. Being a single dad is great. I was a single dad with primary custody (then I remarried). It's a lot of work but it's very rewarding. I strongly recommend it.
