Im I the only one who thinks that texting a girl to meet you at a spcific time is a hit or miss

I see many Rpers preach instead of suggesting a time, simply state where you will be at that specific time and telling them to come there. I'm the only one who thinks this isn't a good idea? Like even of a chick were to text me to come meet her somewhere spontaneously I wouldn't drop everything and go. The only way I see this strategy working is if you have the correct timing and the girl happens to be free at that exact moment but if she says no you don't have much wiggle room. So isn't it better to say something like "I'm in the mood for bowling what's your schedule like?" As opposed to "come meet me at the bowling place at 6pm" at that point it would look you're trying hard to come off as alpha
