Not yet. Virtual A.I with tens machine like electric stimulation will probably be the hard stop in the market for most people for a while, I suspect.

The intellectual/emotional and most importantly predictive capabilities of large language model A.I will surpass the human minds skepticism by 2030 at the latest it's almost guaranteed and by that point VR headsets will be more well established and accessible similar to multigenerational iPhones for example.

The creative power of the new VR head sets coming along is too much for creators to pass up. Especially since they are moving in to a more mobile and environmental dynamicism (sp?) meaning now you can walk around your apartment or room editing videos or drawing art, gaming or talking on discord or Reddit or whatever the fuck people do on their phones and PC all day. You can walk around, sit down, lay down, take a shit, etc all while immersed in the VR world.

Have seen new models compared to old and the technology is definitely at a tipping point but it's just not really there yet. Recent breakthrough model by whatever corpo is the best yet but they need to become more seamless, smaller fans and light weight, almost forgettable, before we will see mass advertising and a rush of the trend which will propel research and investment way faster. Not sure when that will happen but when it does it'll be a societal change for sure, possibly on par with the advent of the smartphone.

This is speculative and really it depends how necessary VR becomes to remain competitive in certain areas because that is what will galvanize the adoption of the tech on large scales rapidly. Then newer generations become accessible like smart phones.

The actual A.I are way easier because LLM will be able to trick our pea brains sooner than later. Couple that with a convincing A.I avatar which we can already see varying levels of A.I generated avatars emerging .. we should assume hyper realistic ones will be available in any sex industry based format because there are BILLIONS if not trillions of dollars in the market for the groups that get this right and distribute it first, now you have an AI gf who is hyper real, can kneel down and put her pussy right in your face while she's moaning and telling you all the dirty shit you want to hear and even though you can't physically touch her she will know exactly what you want to see to turn you on, be able to surprise you and predict your own feelings, desires etc better than most bimbo modern women would EVER try to.

Only other thing I've been thinking about is TENS machine like impulse machines. It requires a few things to catalyze but LLM are almost a sure thing, VR is looking solid but I'm less convinced until the industries start really plugging it and adopting it, and sex is eternal so that's guaranteed.

The actual hardware for flesh like synthetic gf robots is far away imo. The price will be super extreme for any sort of "robot Butler" A.I and available only to the elite for a long ass time just because of the cost of labor of the hardware. Until that gets industrialized we won't be seeing it. But once it does get Industrialized like in I Robot things will get wild. That's my suspicion anyway. By the time they do come though A.I will be far more advanced than us in intelligence so who knows how that will work.

AI has surpassed the timeline of what most people thought so with the singularity closer than previously suspected a lot of the fun science fiction plot lines are going to be erased, when a toaster can have a 1600 IQ you don't really have as much need for new novel ideas I think we will have our hands full lol
