Learning how to cold approach people in general is a somewhat useful skillset but the real problem isn't the methodology.

It's the lack of 3rd spaces and lack of social proof.

So it's often better to keep true cold approaches brief and calculated, get her number, get some banter going.

A wave and a smile can go a long way, my buddy used to do this bit picking up girls at the park, just wave and walk up to her like you've known her for years 'Natalie? Is that you??
