Incels will use the word "cope" to denounce any positive reframing of a negative situation. Their belief is that unless you rip off the proverbial band aid and expose yourself to the hard truth as they see it, then you are delusional.

It is ironic considering their entire inner dialogue and pathology is rooted in made up concepts and delusions. They refer to "Chad" and "Stacy" as if these are monoliths that exist in some real space but they're really just a concept with no solid grounding. What is a Chad? You can't really define it, it is more of a "I know it when I see it" scenario. So the Chad itself is nothing more than an illusory bogeyman; a projection of ones own insecurities.

In a way, in the absence of God, Chad and the ensuing envy of "him" is some new age religion attempting futilely make sense of the confusion surrounding life.
