He makes more money so I shouldn’t have to pay my fair share.

It’s an attitude I see with many feminist issues: More women seek DV shelters therefore the men who need them should be denied. More men commit crime, therefore victimization against men doesn’t count and we should stop sending women to prison. Women have more health insurance claims but insurance shouldn’t be able to charge them more.

It’s not just this woman, it’s a social idea women should be less responsible.

She can just ghost him, refuse to pay and the odds that she will face jail time over it are next to zero.

If the genders were reverse and he was missing child support payments or refused to pay at all? his ass would be thrown in jail without a second thought!
