Here are the two important rules you should remember:

1) Stay in your frame.

2) Don't get in her frame.

Smart girls are no different than stupid girls, it's just that their shit tests may be more advanced. If you keep frame and don't care about any bullshit coming from her, you'll be fine.

It's like dealing with that co worker who's got 3 degrees, but he's doing the same job as you. Sure he has a pile of book learning, he can talk about a wide range of subjects but he still watches football, complains about girls, his mom, his sister....

At the end of it all human behavior is human behavior. Whether she's educated, a country bumpkin, a sorority girl, or some 1980s valley girl....she has the same behaviors. Though in many cases educated and successful women have learned to suppress AWALT traits. Rollo has talked about this. Doesn't mean they aren't there and won't come out when faced with a beta or at best a weaker Alpha.

Odds are that a women of that caliber is looking for an Alpha that can handle her emotions. That can in fact be the Alpha she is looking for.

One of the premises of TRP is that this behavior is predictable. I suspect your trouble is that you are coming in with all the tools of TRP without the right mindset, in this case frame. And it doesn't hurt to be able to converse at an educated level. All this is part of improving yourself.

Attraction isn't manipulation. Manipulation happens in the absence of (enough) it, often from the chick's side. Ordinary chicks will try to manipulate you into validating them. Pros will get material benefits from you.
Your smart chicks will almost always fall in the "pro" rating, but they're most often uninterested in dealing with unattractive men, at all. They're attractive, they can get what they want from attractive men, they only deal with them.

My girlfriend is a resident doctor, hot as shit. And she's from a poor family and studied in the best place she could, "smart" folks born must be born in golden cradles and study in the best schools to pass the entrance exams.
A friend introduced us because supposedly I was acting like a horny dog and she was in a stage where she needed just that. So basically,
- Bear in mind she's a woman and to pick her up you must address her sexual persona rather than her social one. That's still the rule;
- Expect her to want you to lead. Don't expect her to ask you to;
- She's still AWALT, but however she acts, she's most likely skilled at it by this point. If she's a cheater, you won't know she's one. If she's a serial monogamist, she'll be good in hooking you and discreet in maintaining her eyes open;
- She's strong in a very masculine trait, so she will be overly confident. Don't take her opinion as truth.

If you're curious, my girlfriend was looking for a ride on the cc or a good rebound to her ex. I lost frame and went (very little) beta, which turned her eyes to keeping a relationship, and I retained enough value due to pre-selection (I was introduced to her as a very cool and non judgemental nor clingy guy, and a good lay).
Going beta caused her to turn her eyes and look for a relationship, but she's not ready for one (most upsetting realization I had this year and I doubt it'll be topped), she's not over her ex and maybe has been alpha widowed, and I'm in a position and frame that kind of prevents me from beating that (and it doesn't look hard to actually). My turn is soon to be over.

TRP works just as well on smart women as it does on the dumb ones, if not better. smart women tend to be overconfident in their ability to "see through" player type strategies, but RP strategies actually operate on a deeper, more instinctive part of the brain and completely bypasses her conscious defenses.

your problem is that you're pedestalizing smart women. you see them as the prize, not yourself.

leaving out details bc i don't want to get doxxed, but i'm in the IP field and regularly meet and interact with some of the smartest women in the world.

some of them are autistic and have almost zero social intelligence. they are legitimately smart but they are also almost always very physically unattractive and when you interact with one it's like you're talking to an awkard robot.

the rest of the "smart women" can spend all day doing theoretical physics or biomedical engineering or whatever, but as soon as they leave work they are exactly like every other girl. they watch the same garbage celebrity life tv shows, they post selfies on social media to get validation from guys, they go out clubbing and get shitfaced and hook up with random dudes, etc.

if you want to have a deep, intelligent conversation and nerd out with someone talking about quantum physics or Marcus Aurelius, go talk to one of your male friends.

Smart girls are still girls. Unless you let yourself be intimidated. The best fucks I've had were smarter girls. They often have good jobs so you're not just dollar signs. They are more fun to hang out with. It is painfully boring to go out with a chick who cannot talk about anything substantive.
