VAW = violence against women

Anytime you bring up the issue of violence against men and especially done by women and how women also kill men, etc. you'll get the usual retorts of "male violence against women is at epidemic levels," "This is like saying all lives matter," "Stop derailing the conversation about women," blah blah blah. But then some bring up that VAW (especially by men) is systemic and institutional. How? Unless one's definition of institutional is for male VAW to get always recognition and campaigns against it, in which case I'd agree. But institutional as in men all over the world in positions of government and authority conspiring to inflict harm upon women? Definitely not. What a ridiculous and infantile way of thinking. It's just another way for misandrists to play victim and deflect from any attention to the still massively overlooked issue of VAM.

Not only that, but I've even seen some claiming men raping women is systemic as well. Ugh. Do these idiots seriously think men in power have nothing better to do than plot rapes? Another way of deflecting from the fact that women also rape men to try to downplay it's severity, with female rape of males being such a massive elephant in the room of a topic.
