Go to an Attorney HIRE an Attorney. Get a petition file petition, try to serve if your runaway wife can't be served then there are public notice or courthouse notice type routes to get this going and be fully divorced from her.

Not a lawyer, and just what I remember a friend doing 10 years ago. It was in Arizona, and it was common I guess, but if you knew the person was hard to find, or in a case or two it was shady lady divorces being sneaky, you had to file for divorce and attempt to have the other party served ~5 times, maybe? But then you'd show the court that you made an honest attempt, they would then allow you to run the decree in 2 or 3 publications, I want to say local paper and then the area they were last known to be. Run it once a week for a month, no answer, boom divorce.

I’m sorry but this isn’t a “do it yourself” project. Hire an attorney, but the bullet, pony up a few grand and get it going.

It can be done. Service by publication is a last resort after a showing of good faith efforts to serve personally or through substitute service.

Is she in regular contact with a family member, parents or siblings? If so you might get the judge to issue an order to allow service on one of them as a means to serve her.

The judge is interested in choosing a method that actually gives her notice that the petition has been filed and the information she needs so that she has an opportunity to respond and appear before the judge grants the final decree. Service on such a family member is much more likely to give her such notice than publication in the local newspaper.

You can find anyone...hire a PI and have her served. Its not that hard. You can get her address from a credit report or cell phone bill...all of which is on her credit report. The courts and a PI can find it.
