This sounds very passive, she got angry and attacked him, her body didn't do it of it's own accord. She can be stressed out or whatever, but at the end of the day she chose to abuse him.

'I told my family and friends what had been happening. That they didn't criticise or judge was a huge help. Soon after I decided to go part-time as a lawyer and a mediator, and now I run a course to help people deal with anger and conflict.'

What a privilege to not be seen as scum by your family and friends and not be sacked by your employer. She hit her husband again after going on an anger management course yet is helping people deal with anger and conflict, what a joke.

well maybe it was his fault, i only read the first but he walked away from her, thats clearly psicological violence and financial abuse to not talk about it, she was obviously totally entitled to defend herself and lets face it, men dont feel pain, they have light feelings so no psicial dmg and just beging upset is much less that the stress that he inflicted on her with his financial abuse and refusal to talk /s

I was found guilty of controlling behaviour as she had cried in court & the judge deliberately ignored most of the evidence. What she said was factually false & she was abusive herself - took a knife at me, banged her head, stood over a lit stove but blamed me making her do it as I did not agree with what she had agreed with her family. She claims to have sent money to an account that did not exist & her report states I travelled back in time & the judge allowed it even though it was obtained via bribery & evidence available & allowed her solicitor to sign my documents hence fraud. In Watford UK. Corruption

there's a lot of language in that editorial excusing her behavior: stress, low self esteem, even blamed it on her selfless volunteer work for the homeless. The words are contrite, but it's clear that she's not accepting responsibility, it's just something that "happened", not something "she did"

This is what comes from raising generations of women, telling them they are special and nothing they do is wrong, and men are always the bad guy not them.

Imaging a man telling his family and friends "I've been a chronic wife abuser for the last 10 years", think they'd offer him support without criticism? Even when a woman admits to being the abusive spouse, people will still support HER.

can't help but notice she doesn't spare a moments reflection on how this abuse affected her husband. its' all about her.

the first time I struck him was during an argument over money. He'd decided to pay off a loan without telling me and we'd gone overdrawn. I was worried and tried to discuss it with him, at which point he left the room. I felt we hadn't talked it through properly and followed him. The next minute I was hitting him around the head.
