Most people don't know or care about incels, the world doesn't revolve around us. Unattractive people in general, not just men, have always been easy targets for scorn and ridicule, which is terrible but it is not an issue isolated to men.

I'm pretty indifferent to incels until they start making posts such as "ugly men that go to the gym are pathetic because no-one should take care of their physical or mental health unless they pass my personal looks threshold." They are just harmful to other men in some cases.

You're correct but I think you're interpretation of "hate" is wrong.

I believe that the true opposite of love isn't hate, but absolute indifference. I'd ironically place hate somewhat close to love imo.
