Married since 6 years. I make more income then her, we both are california residents. She was totally in control of her side of family. This started getting into our daily routines and financial control. Hypocrisy at best and she wanted to take her financial decisions. We bought house last year 80% my savings rest herd. But the day we moved in, her family started creating all the controlling drama. In summer this year with a well planned move, my spouse left USA without telling me and moved back to Toronto (she is Canadian citizen). From there she filed divorce petition in California Court. She put all the expenses of house mortgage and everything on me. And keeps me busy with multitude of BS interrogatories repeatedly again and again ..trying to burn me out financially.

Also since she is in canada ...what are my options for discovery?? Cause I know my spouse and her family has assets which they have covered the tracks of. I do have lawyer but seems they are not of great help since hse is outside the country.. california jurisdiction does not apply in Canada right? So I am helpless and have no ways to fight back ? Please help and advice.. She is putting fake numbers in her FL 142 and 145 trying to create more stronger case of alimony and financial support..
