Please note, I am NOT anti-sex, despite what the title may imply. What I’m simply saying is that a man’s sex drive can often lead him to situations that are against his best interests in the long-term.

We have so many men that embrace traditionalist roles of constant sacrifice and doing things that serve to put him danger, and are especially motivated when they do these things in service of women. In the so-called “strong and independent era”, especially where firearms can equalize us, a couple should be protective of each other. But the onus of protecting is always on the man. Even little inconveniencing acts like offering one’s coat if they’re cold or standing on the roadside of the sidewalk is always expected of the man.

Then the LonelyFans epidemic. A man’s sex drive combined with the human need for companionship, when deprived of both, create a situation where a man can be easily milked for his cash by being sold a fantasy from a woman that might have a team of male chatters doing the actual interacting.

In a similar point to the above, there are alot of lonely men who easily get attached to a woman they may be dating, only to marry and completely put his finances in the power of women who can divorce court-rape them at any time (or even just child support from pregnancy…if you don’t want a kid and she does, and your protection failed/she lied about birth control, there is nothing you can do but pay or go to jail).

I think it would be in every man’s best to question his urges, try to think in the long term to predict how they can hurt him in the future, realize that society is against them and has a lot of traps, and then try to come up with alternative outlets to avoid being taken advantage of (fulfilling hobbies, platonic relationships, heck, even masturbation at least doesn’t come with drama).
