My ex stayed home and didn't work. She wanted time to 'run errands ' and had my son in daycare and then an after school program. I protested on the fact she didn't work and didn't need it. I was asked if I'd ever used it. I said I dropped him off the odd Friday because mom didn't want that time with the kids and was told I had to pay 75%.... So yeah be ready for anything

If you don’t need that care while your kids are in your custody then you shouldn’t need to pay. I went through it and I have 50% custody of my kids. My ex told me that she was going to get after care and that I’m going to have to split the costs for her. It was all stipulated in our custody agreement and I reminded her that at some point she should really read the agreement. Needless to say, she wasn’t too happy.
