Having watched several Youtube videos on this topic, I found it hard to trust much of the information presented. A lot of what they say are signs of interest-that she'll play with her hair, her jewellery, suck in her stomach to make herself more presentable to a man she likes, sound very much theoretical in nature rather than actual behaviour observed in women. I mean who in their right minds will care to look to see if a woman sucks in her stomach to look less fat? So I'm going to write about my own interactions with women who I know were interested in me and what I saw with my own eyes. Here are signs of interest that I noticed.

  1. You might already know this, but it bears repeating because it's important: she treats you differently than other people, particularly other guys. You'll know it's probably platonic if you see other men receive the same treatment from her. But it's a big deal if you see if see that she isn't the type of person to treat everyone well, just you. Hell, even if it's the other way around and she's nice to everyone but acts like a total bitch to you, that can be a good sign too. Because that could mean that she's unsure if you'll return her feelings, and she's pre-emptively protecting herself from rejection by treating you poorly. But when you see no difference in treatment, that's the kiss of death.

  2. Her voice will sound different around you. If she really likes you and she thinks she has a chance with you, the way she speaks will sound different than it normally does. She'll be nervous and excited. She might speak in a more rapid pace, and in a higher pitch.

  3. Compliments. If you receive compliments from her, that's good because she wants to make a good impression on you. Like I will get a compliment on a haircut I got, even when the haircut sucked and I wanted my money back. If you get complimented once, that could mean nothing. But a pattern of this is a very good sign.

  4. She remembers little details about you. If it ever gets to the point where she brings up something that you said 3 months ago that you had forgotten about, that's a sign she likes you. Every word that comes out of your mouth means something to her.

  5. She's very sensitive about rejection. If she ever invites you out to something, like to lunch or to a gathering with friends, she'll care about how you react. She'll be overjoyed if you say yes, and she'll be upset if you say no. If she views you as a friend, she won't give a shit whether you say yes or no to her invite.

  6. She offers to pay. If you're out with her, and you happen to not have any money on you, and she offers to pay for you, that's a great sign she likes you. Girls don't pay for guys they have no interest in.

  7. She gets jealous. If you're talking to a girl, ever notice she might not mention particular girls by name? Especially those who are especially attractive? That could be that she's worried you might like the other girl more than her. And if you mention a particulary attractive girl and you see her getting uncomfortable, that's another sign she's jealous.

There are a few signs that I could think of. Over the years, there are some signs that I've come to realize don't mean much, but in this case, it's likely these signs mentioned above carry weight since I know they come from girls who are interested.
