Out of curiosity I once read a feminist dissertation on the death penalty and why feminists should oppose it. Guess who the feminist writer thought were most oppressed by a system that allows executions?

Why, the mothers of the defendants of course, (lol and no mention of affected fathers, or any other kin even)

The humanity of the (mostly) male death row inmates wasn't anything the writer wasted any ink on. I wish I was joking.

Not that I think the woman quoted in OP was referencing that exact study but she's apparently aware of this utterly vile feminist tactic:
