An advert in another country, featured a dad and his daughter, who looked around 7. Dad peeks into her bedroom to see she’s made a “doll fund” jar. So it shows him and her doing a bunch of things together to make her money. (Lemonade stand, wrapping Xmas presents at a mall). On Xmas day she rushes to the tree and pulls out a present for him, and it was something really adorable but not cheap (can’t remember what it was). He looks surprised and it pans into the bedroom and the jar where “doll” is crossed out and she’s written “Dad”. They hug and end of advert. It was this year. Not old. People know Dads are important.

Old or new, this story is very relevant today. Many young children miss a male role model in their lives. This is a positive thing in a society where men are vilified. Great job 👏 “men are NOT useless” Happy New Year to all of you.

old or not, the story is irrelevant and serves no purpose other than to somewhat perpetuate the feminist idea that men are inherently deadbeats (which we know is not true in all cases)
