A new study on domestic abuse by the CDC that when only 1 partner is abused over 70-90% is perpetratored by the wife or girlfriend. When it's equal abuse, the majority of the domestic abuse was initiated by the wife or girlfriend. But that number is 5 times more likely to have domestic violence in lesbian relationships than male and female relationships and 10 times more than gay relationships.

The CDC has stated that 43.8% of lesbian women reported experiencing physical violence, stalking, or rape by their partners. The study notes that, out of those 43.8%, two thirds (67.4%) reported exclusively female perpetrators.

I can't find the article referenced coach Greg Adams reviewing the study, but here is the prof in the video shown.

Can you link the new CDC study, please.

I can't see anything there that matches the OPs numbers.. am I missing it?

[–]northseaview 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The report is referenced in the link given by the OP, but relates only to sexual violence, not all IPV violence. https://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/pdf/nisvs/nisvsReportonSexualIdentity.pdf again covers sexual violence, but by sexual orientation. Shows only lifetime estimates, which are less reliable than past 12 month estimates. I am not an American and the layout of reports on the CDC website are difficult to navigate.

Mate, you posted a link in reply to eldred2, who had asked for a link from Anti-Scam-Activist to prove/show what he stated. My presumption therefore was that your link was what eldred2 asked for, why else would you supply it. Is it not what eldred2 is looking for?

I hove no time right now to read this new link you provided but a quick search for "43.8" results in a population figure not an "of lesbian women reported". Does this report provide the data that eldred2 is looking for?

[–]eldred2 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's from 2010, not new.

Thanks for the link. Mankind.org.uk is not the CDC, though. I'm going to assume you inadvertently misspoke when you said "A new study on domestic abuse by the CDC".

I'll send the video of coach Greg Adams reviewing the study.

In case you haven't watched it yet mate, it's from 2016 and I cannot find it on the CDC website.

[–]denisc9918 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can't find it but I have limited time right now. Certainly doesn't seem to be anything on "new" the CDC website.

Considering that women are less likely to take risk, but just as aggressive as men. This makes perfect sense. Women know their man wont hit back, most men never do. It turns out that the majority of domestic abuse where a man harmed a woman, he reciprocated the violence. And only because of female supremacist intervention into the legal system, mainly with the duluth model, did we start arresting the man nearly always. Thus the stats shows that the man is always at fault, since he was the one arrested, because that is what the protocol is.

Kinda fucked up huh? Skew the data by making such an unfair system. Why not arrest both partners if they both hit each other? How else are we supposed to achieve justice? Does anyone even care about fairness and justice anymore anyways?

[–]denisc9918 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Does anyone even care about fairness and justice anymore anyways?

No one in power.

A very strong argument could be made for "They never did."

[–]solemnoak 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well now you know.

[–]DMFan79 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've experienced both types of abuse, but I must say that psychological one is the worst.

One of my exes stalked me for months after we broke up. She used to send me messages telling me she was going to kill herself if I didn't answer the phone. She waited outside of my place of work and my house, followed me when I was going home or for a walk... She was extremely jealous, I remember her fits of rage when she thought I was looking at another woman. It was extremely embarassing because no matter the place we were in, she just started to yell at me. She asked her family members or friends to call me. I couldn't have a moment of rest without turning off the phone.

My ex wife used to belittle me, telling me I wasn't a man. When I tried to ignore her tantrums she got furious and physical. I remember one time I was cooking, I was stirring a sauce with a wooden spoon and she started to pull it from my hand because I didn't reply to her insults. She kept pulling until the spoon split in two pieces. Another time we were on the car, she was driving. We were arguing and at one point she stopped the car in the middle of the street, opened the trunk, took my work suitcase and threw it on the sidewalk. As soon as I got out to fetch the suitcase, she started the car and left me there...

But the seven years spent fighting to get the custody of my son were undoubtedly the worst time of my life. She made sure to make me miserable hitting me where it hurt the most. I couldn't see or talk with my son and I was constantly harassed by her lawyer. They wrote lies about me, tried to convince the judge I was unfit to spend time with my son and when it wasn't enough, she simply ignored the agreements knowing that nothing could be done about it.

After seven years I managed to get the joint custody. The court granted me two WEs each month, summer and Christmas holidays and set an affordable amount of money for the monthly check.

So, yes, a man can be abused by a woman and society is ok with it.

[–]SgtSplacker 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Women are definitely capable of abuse but differently than men. In my experience it always begins with some kind of false accusatory victimization move that leads to more because since you got accused of something you must deserve it then right? So now the gloves come off because you are the villain. No proof or evidence needed.

[–]denisc9918 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not just your experience mate, it's well documented that men express violence physically, women use words. The movie Mean Girls was based on a documentary.

The recent surge in women being physically violent would never have happened if men "hitting back" was normal. No consequences for their bad actions only increases the frequency of the bad actions.

[–]Past_Study_4913 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I see it everyday women, but its usually mental abuse which id argue is worse, whats a little bump and bruise, not saying either is ok. Just saying i think mental abuse is worse. I see it constantly and its never mentioned, only his behaviour is. I know many many vile cunts irl. Them being physically abused is much much rarer, i rarely see it. If ever.

Getting married is the biggest form of abuse towards a man, as he gets little to no benefits from that arrangement and all the disadvantages when divorced.

[–]blackdahlialady 5 points6 points7 points 2 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I'm a woman and I have to agree with this. I have never seen any reason to get married. Why, so you can have the government tell you that you're together? Why when you already know this? A marriage is not a piece of paper and a file box at a courthouse. I will never get legally married. I just don't see any reason to. If you ask me, people who do aren't thinking about the bigger picture.

If things go south, it's a lot easier to break up and walk away than it is to go through a divorce. I'm never going to go through that. Plus, it seems that nobody takes relationships seriously anymore anyway so why would I put myself through the hassle of getting married just for it to inevitably go south? Most marriages do nowadays anyway so if you ask me, getting legally married is not a good idea.

[–]TryLambda 6 points7 points8 points 2 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thank you for confirming the accuracy , and from a woman's perspective.

[–]blackdahlialady 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

You're welcome. To be honest, I think that people who get married are not really thinking things through. I just don't see why people are in such a rush to do it. Also, I've always thought that weddings were a giant waste of time and money. The biggest thing for me was I can't understand why a woman would spend thousands of dollars on a dress she's going to wear once for a few hours. It's like, why don't you use that money on something that you would actually use everyday or something like buying a house?

There was another reason I knew things were not going to work out with my ex. The minute his parents found out we were engaged, they started pressuring us into having a big church wedding. I didn't want that but I felt pressured into it. I said to myself, if this is the kind of family I'm going to have to marry into where I'm going to be forced to do stuff that I'm against to make his parents happy, he's not the right person for me. I'm glad I didn't marry into his family because every time I spent time with them, it felt like I was putting on an act. I felt so fake. I felt like I couldn't be myself. Anyway, yeah I just think marriage is an outdated concept.

Edit: I also knew he wasn't the right person for me because despite being 38, it was clear that he was still desperate for his parents approval. Like to the point that he would put aside and make me put aside what I wanted and what I believed in in order to make them happy. I'm sorry, last I checked, his parents weren't they final authority on everything.

It's like he was still a child. He was not ready to cut the apron strings with them so to speak and I'm looking for a partner, not somebody who needs their parents approval to that extent. It just seemed really unhealthy to me. I'm not saying don't have a good relationship with your parents, I'm just saying don't do what he did. Don't take it to an unhealthy level like that. It got to the point where it was like he couldn't make a decision without having to involve his parents. I have no interest in being with somebody like that.

[–]TryLambda 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Good on you , best to be your authentic self , as the worse form of punishment in life is to live a lie and be fake.

[–]blackdahlialady 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's it, to live by somebody else's standards. If he thinks I'm the problem for that then oh well. At least I'm not having to put on an act in order to make somebody else's parents happy. If they can't accept me for who I am then it's better that I didn't marry into that family anyway.

[–]xdzgor 4 points5 points6 points 2 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

In many countries, simply living together for a certain amount of time means you are "married" in the eyes of the law in case of break-up/divorce. Only advantage with an actual marriage certificate is tax - a married couple can share their tax margins.

[–]blackdahlialady 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh yes, common law marriage.

[–]TheFireMachine 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Marriage doesnt even actually exist if one can easily exit the marriage. For a society to function we need monogamy and marriage. No hook ups and people have to work things out with their partners.

This means strong support systems for couples, and accountability for when people misbehave. No matter what system we have though, people will always fall through the cracks and suffer; I think its obvious that our current system with a psudo marriage, and laughable monogamy culture has caused WAY more suffering than what we had before. Especially for the children.

"there was a lot of attention devoted to discussing the impact of the sexual revolution on men and women—whether the revolution failed women, or failed men, or helped men more than women, or helped women more than men. Nobody asked whether the sexual revolution failed children. People already know the answer. " Rob Henderson

[–]blackdahlialady 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree with this. There needs to be monogamy but it seems like people don't want it anymore. It seems like even the people who say they do really don't. Like they'll start out being monogamous but the first thing that goes wrong in the relationship, they'll drop you for the next person. At least that's what I've experienced and frankly, I'm done putting myself through that. Nobody wants the same things I do anymore it seems.

Ofcourse they do, but unless you allowed them it’s impossible. So it’s the man mistake.
