I divorced in CA in late 2022. It's final. But my ex has dragged her feet on QDROs. A year later, we're just getting started with splitting the savings accounts.

She has 20+ years on a pension. I knew that and expected it on her schedule of assets and debts. So far so good. She's keeping it. There's a whole story there. But she omitted two other retirement accounts, a 403b and 457. She got all this working for a school system.

I should have realized that she didn't list them but I missed it. My mental health took a nose dive during the divorce. I was pretty worthless as far as critical thinking skills.

I don't have statements. But I'd guess her 403b and 457 weigh in at $50k to $150k. I can prove she made contributions. I have her W-2s for many years.

So, the divorce is over. Or at least, the negotiations are over and I'm legally divorced. I got a result which I'm very happy with - very limited alimony. I figure this is a seven figure number in my favor.

She keeps her pension. I also have a pension. I keep mine. She's getting half of my 401Ks, IRAs, and stocks.

If I make an issue of her 403b and 457, does this open the divorce right back up? Does it go to trial after all? Could we possibly end up with a totally different settlement?
