Initially Mr Seddon falsely said the injuries were self-inflicted and he was arrested on suspicion of assault - whilst Hurst was treated for her neck injury in the back of an ambulance.

But she then become violent and aggressive towards police and paramedics and was herself arrested.

He was arrested first and the woman was treated as the victim. Unbelievable.

Why does it happen so often that women are portrayed as victims when they do terrible things? I see this so often and it is frustrating because no one thinks, they just react using stereotypes. Flippin’ hypocrites.

I don't like dismissing claims of abuse as I know both men and women who have been abused by their partners but the way this story is she just doesent strike me as a victim
