Background facts:

Australia has around 304 single-sex schools educating over 284,000 students, 54% attend girls’ schools.

Enrolments in girls schools have grown by approximately 3,000 students over the last 5 years, while boys’ school enrolments have remained steady. Overall, the share of all students in single-sex schools has declined slightly from 7.2% in 2018 to 7.0% in 2022, most likely due to the relative decline in boys schools enrolments and transition of boys only schools to Co-ed.

NAPLAN results show that after accounting for socio-educational background and gender, single-sex schools tend to have slightly higher NAPLAN scores than co-ed schools, although with wide variation between individual schools. Results show higher scores for boys’ schools in Numeracy, but little effect is seen for girls’ schools in Reading.

Overall, the results of this analysis show an academic advantage for boys in single sex schools, with little or no advantage for girls.

Feminists continue to lobby for the transition of boys only schools to Co-ed, regardless of the better outcomes for boys in single sex schools. There is no lobbying for the transition of girls only schools to co-ed, and enrolments continue to grow.

So much for our education system being boy friendly.

One of the biggest mistakes ever made in Australia has been the gradual removal of tech schools. A big part of the reason for their existence is the high proportion of boys who need a more active, hands on approach to learning.

Similar things pertain in the UK. I attended several schools but the last and best one had been boys only until not that long before I was there.

Having mostly attended co-educational places I think that the general attitude is better and I'm not a huge fan of that kind of segregation on general principle.

The place I went is a selective intake school. It is not a fee paying place but achieved exam results comparable to places that are, which naturally makes it extremely desirable, hence the interest of parents in getting both their daughters and sons in there. It is now very well integrated, which, as I say, I fully support... but the corresponding girls school down the road is still girls only, naturally. This means local boys have far less opportunity to attend a really good, competitive school at a price their parents can afford than girls.

Say what you like about this sub, but that is a men's rights issue.

Some beta males and feminist retards will justify this saying some bs like females can have females-only schools but men can't because men don't get SA'd or some other crap reason. People find the most ridiculous reasons to justify women's actions.

Its most likely feminists trying to cover up that if boys fo better in boy only schools it would obviously cast suspicion on coed schools. Why would boys performance drop in coed?

Its to make sure girls' advantages are held in place by making schools coed and to conceal the inconsistent performance of boys in coed vs single ed spaces.

Thry are liars these feminists, i mean we know that. And the way girl only ed is acceptable shows its a game being played.

Back in middle school one my old buddies changed from our school to an all male school and it took me a while to understand why he didn’t want to come back, eventually I realized how much feminist indoctrination was just bullshit

All boys schools are also notorious for damaging their ability to interact with girls in the real world and later in life, which is in fact co-ed. Academic results may be higher but at the end of the day it is a prestigious school and opportunities to learn will always be provided and it’s up to each individual to succeed academically

They're trying to integrate the boys schools specifically because boys perform better there than in coed. They're actively trying to make boys worse off in every way, in every circumstance.

Boys only schools will be eliminated because boys are better off in those environments. This is how much feminism hates men - they are actively trying to damage the livelihoods of all men.
