To be fair, you should not be retroactively convicted for a new law that wasn't in place when you committed the actions.

I'm all for men's rights, but at the time of her actions she did nothing wrong(according to the law at least, I know she actually did plenty wrong morally), it's sad, but I agree with Australia's decision on this one.

If we don't stand for that, then feminists could just decide to make a new law that says posting on men's rights forums was illegal and retroactively convict all of us.

The thing to remember is this was back in the 1970s when sexism against women was at its height, the Patriarchy was in full control and the deck was utterly and completely stacked against women in every way. That is why this poor woman is getting hammered by the legal system for doing nothing wrong.
