Well when you're a virgin at 26, not overweight or stinky all the time, living on his own in a brand new apartment in the city center, with a brand new car, how can you NOT focus on it 24/7
[–]leetcoder217 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What a strong and solid statement.
[–]python834 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Because you should be focused on becoming a decamillionaire.
Women come easy when you are already the man.

Then be a slave to the matrix. Once you start having sex on a regular basis, you’ll realize that the 9-5 grind is the real enemy.

You do realize how easy it is to get women once you are established.

Yes to all of those... but what is your point? Every night I must resist the temptation to mindlessly Jack off
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
If you have all those wishes, which are more than rewarding in the long term, and yet you ignore those and focus 24/7 on seduction, I’d say what you need is clarity of purpose. Think of it like this, the best of men are those whose lives are holistic. You have to have a normal amount of mental focus on all those, and a normal amount of focus on getting a partner. But thinking about the latter 24/7 is going to do the exact opposite, which is alienation of said partners. What do you think will happen, say after you get a girlfriend? Do you think anything changes with that?
About the jacking off, if you focus on resisting the urge, you’ll eventually fail. What you must focus on is the why. Ditch porn, reduce your frequency, spend your evenings in good company, in things that’ll take your mind off of it.
[–]booniedog1 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Funny you say evenings. I work afternoons and evenings so I have no social outlets. And I agree, compared to other guys I think I spend WAY too much time thinking about this stuff. In fact I've been called out on it, and it seems awkward when IRL I have conversations with other guys about it
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ah, so you have inverted work timings. Which makes meeting people difficult. I’m sorry but I don’t have a solution for that. Also, see the good thing is you’ve identified your problems, the chief of which is overthinking about this stuff. Maybe you should leave this sub and other such communities for a while. Get the focus off of seduction. Live your life, and forget about what is lacking. If nothing else, that’ll lead to a happier few months. But if it works good, it might solve your over focussing problems.

maybe your focus could be your career-getting it to a place where you can work more normal hours for a better social life. or find a coffee spot that you frequent in the mornings. maybe take early or mid day fitness classes?

😆😆😆😆
This proves that attraction isn’t something a man can just work and have
You either have it or don’t.

When you go looking for it, you never find it. Continue to lead a fulfilling life and if a woman comes along for the ride, it'll happen when it does and she can be the cherry on top of it all, and chances are you won't give a shit by then - and that's EXACTLY where you need to ar mentally, physically, spiritually and monetarily.
Until then you're still likely looking in all the wrong places trying to find what usually eludes the pursuer. Let it come to you.

Not my only focus in life, but definitely one of the main ones. Definitely agree that you need other goals, passions, and hobbies in life to be attractive, but it's not a bad thing to include seduction as one of those hobbies, especially if you want to seduce lots of women.
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
I have a genuine question, why do you feel the need to seduce lots of women? How much need is this on a scale of casual timepass to obsessive compulsion?
[–]Canadian-Seductioner 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn't call it a need. More of a want. I'd equate it to traveling. I don't need to travel to new cities/countries, but I want to because it's fun as fuck. Same thing with seduction. I feel the same rush when I explore a new place as I do when I seduce a new girl.
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If it’s not a need, and not hurting others, then I’d say its like other pleasures, all good in moderation.
[–]Canadian-Seductioner 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sure, although nothing is wrong with making it one of your primary focuses as I said earlier. As long as you have other focuses too, you have a good enough balance. If it's your only focus, then yeah there's a problem.

Are you a religious person ?
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Depends on what you’d judge by my answer. But yes.
[–]leetcoder217 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Hmm. Can understand why you ask in such way. Religion forces sexual morality, monogamy and sex only after marriage. The seduction sub and it's ideology or goals are like opposite to what religious folks think. Hence, i think you are out of place in this sub and it would be not appropriate to change everyone's mindset here as you hold a minority opinion here.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
This is why I mentioned judgement. Your assumption is that because I’m religious, I believe in all the things you mentioned. Do you also think I believe abortions equates killing babies and that women do not deserve the right to be treated as equals? FYI, I’m neither Christian, nor do I subscribe to the Christian view on these things. My idea of religion is very different from what you’d think it was. I wouldn’t be here if I did agree with the puritanicals. Also, a small piece of advice, attacking the source/making assumptions about the source of the argument as a way to invalidate the argument will lead you nowhere.
[–]leetcoder217 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Lol, I am very pro choice and pro abortions and I see pro life folks as crazy people. Anyways I am not a Christian and the points you mentioned about conservative religious Christians sound very outrageous to me as a hindu. Even religious Hindus never think of women being inferior etc.
I don't think I was attacking your arguement. I was kind of surprised at your attempt to change the main idea of seduction people have here.
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
As a Hindu myself, those ideas do sound very irreligious to me. Hindu philosophy worships the Devi, the Prakriti, and the feminine. How can there be Ardhanaarishwar without the Nari? How can there be Shiva without an equally powerful Parvati?
A lot of people have a very wrong and potentially harmful idea of seduction, and a lot of people take to this concept for the wrong reasons. If you’re in it for the wrong reasons, you’ll probably never succeed. And even if you do, you won’t find peace. The cure is for the disease, not the symptoms. Because the problem never was about using the wrong one-liners. There can be no true seduction without fighting your own insecurities, coping mechanisms or compulsions first.
[–]leetcoder217 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You suddenly started sounding like sadhguru. Tch tch. I don't see problem in guys coming together and discussing about it. No one would do it 24*7 btw. People just want to give it more priority and do it efficiently
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
I don’t agree with that, and I know many on this sub are overindulging in it, but we all are entitled to our opinions. This post, all these comments, they are my attempt to give back. I don’t care whether people take it seriously or continue on the same course. Stoicism has drilled in me indifference. This is me doing what I see as my duty.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yea because I’m at my happiest when I have the pretty girl with the nice butt in my bed.
[–]Jasonhardon 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I disagree. You should practice until you get to the point you are satisfied with your results, GF, threesomes, marriage, kids whatever your goal might be. Then move on with your life. Why I say this? Because you don’t know how much work you need to put in to get the results you want. Either work on yourself, your game. Distracting yourself with other stuff will hinder your improvement unless related to pick up in someway. But also obviously don’t let your professional career suffer because of gaming

Is this what greatness looks like?
Personally I'm quite successful at my passion which I discovered as a young teenager and I couldn't give two shits about pursuing "greatness". Just want to live my life and do the things I enjoy, which includes flirting with women and having sex. It also includes reading fiction rather than Kant or Patanjali or whatever. I'm also dialing back the dedication with which I'm pursuing my main passion because seduction is the only part of my life that I find lacking and I want to focus on that and my fitness.
I don't know, I think you're making a lot of extreme normative statements, almost to the point of it becoming a sermon, and no good technical advice on seduction.
What is the difference between leisure and passion?
