I use visualization to get out of an introverted social pattern. I try to visualize myself in a more comfortable place, like my living room, and these are my guests. I really want them to relax and have a good time.

I call it "schmoozing" the crowd.

"Filter off" works to get things started. You don't really want to hold back. I try to be thoughtful as opposed to provoking. Less is more in this sense.

I think it depends on the person. Filter is a major issue on individuals with anxiety or nice guy syndrome. You spend so much time trying to come up with a perfect response or what to say and evaluating all your thoughts that you end up saying nothing and staring at her blankly, then finishing up with something completely dead and stupid that passes all the "this wont offend anyone" checks but fails at literally everything else.

Yeah, filter off.

Shy/introvert guys usually have the fear of "what happens if i say XYZ?"

i'm a shy introvert by nature but the moment i told myself "whatever , what's gonna happen next? girl gets uninterested and leave? good , males may get offended and start the fight? alright we gonna fight."

it's that simple , it's the worst EVER scenario that may happen . you tell something (whatever) and the person you're talking to ( men or women ) just become disinterested as fuck & they move .

I don't think so, personally. It's going to get you into more trouble than it's worth IMO. With this climate of SJW and PCW, I think having a "professional" filter is the best way to go.

I think the better advice "It doesn't matter what you say, but how you say it."

It's great. Just say what you want, whenever you want. People dont like it,who cares.

Be who you are by saying what you want. By having a filter, you are subconsciously saying your natural authentic thoughts are not good enough to put out in the world. A confident person would never think this way.
