A similar post about phone calls before a date was made recently, and I want to re-emphasize how valuable this can be.

If you're in the online dating game, or IG DM's game, or just any game where you're messaging a girl before meeting her in person... do a FaceTime date.

I've had a few interactions this week where a girl and I had a great rapport over texting for a few days.

Instead of meeting up with nothing but some photos and texting to go off of, I opted for a FaceTime date with both of them.

Not only did I get a much more "real" look at them compared to their carefully taken photos, I got to see their mannerisms, hear their voice and tonality, how well they hold a conversation, and overall how interesting I found them to converse with.

One of the girls was fun and lively, the other was really dull and I had to make most of the conversation happen. You can guess which girl I'm going to pursue.

TLDR; Use FaceTime to vet girls before meeting them in person and potentially wasting time/money.
