26M dating 25F now for 2 months.

Basically I've been a total disaster (behind the scenes). When I'm with her I'm confident and act the part - hence we get along well together, meet frequently, and have a good match with each other. When I'm not with her I get very insecure, constantly think about whether she is flirting with other guys and how attracted/into me she really is.

So recently we started hanging out much more often than usual - and I have displayed signs of neediness and insecurity. The first sign of neediness is starting to text her everyday - thought that may be normal given that we are now 2 months in. I displayed insecurity recently when I got a bit upset about an incident where it could appear that she was fucking another guy but it was unclear.

But this post is about how to strategically recover attraction after one has displayed signs of neediness and insecurity. My first instinct is to just stop messaging and allow the girl to now message me first. This is a quick fix. Other than that I don't really have any great ideas.

Have you guys been in situations like this where you broke frame, displayed neediness and insecurity - but then employed strategies that eventually brought back the strong attraction?

P.S. Please don't suggest ghosting for long periods of time - I am firmly against that.

Edit: I should also mention the girls in question is a straight 10/10. I wouldnt say out of my league but lets just say she has a lot of options and a lot of interest coming her way from all sorts of guys almost daily.
