My mood has been severely affected by my belief that society is obsessed with youth (and mostly youth in women.)

That they see youth as superior and older as inferior

That women are obsessed with anti ageing and ashamed/insecure/touchy about their ages

That they see younger as automatically better looking and beauty is mostly about how much younger you look or are. So to be told you look older is an insult and to be told you look younger is a compliment

That people believe women become invisible with age

That people believe older women are jealous of younger women for being younger

That they put themselves down due to age

That they think men prefer younger women (beauty and sex wise) and that rich and older men leave their wives for women half their ages

I find it sad women stay attracted to men as they age, despite believing these things and catering to them. They are happy to feel like they have to look for the needle in the haystack

Feminists definitely all believe these things

I find it very depressing and I have became fixated on this. Please tell me I am not speaking for a majority of people? Otherwise I have to avoid men and women because this stuff and the rhetoric they spew about it bothers me.
