Linked up with a “wingman” friend two weeks ago. A couple of attractive girls were standing behind him in line when I arrived. As soon as me and him met,I turned around and I started talking to the girls who were pretty open and sounded like they were eager for one of us to talk to them. The wingman got excited and jumped in the conversation and started talking to the girls and even giving his coat to one of the girls, it was a bit cold. When we went inside he immediately bought the girls multiple shots(bad idea) and as the night went by the girls seemed to distance themselves from us. I got one of the girls contacts and we’ve been talking since. I tried to get her on a date but she came up with an excuse. She randomly texted me last night and asked me to go all the way to the club and buy her drinks. I said no, and then she started calling me “daddy”(we both go to the same University)and said she would come to my place if I sent her cash. I told her I don’t do that and said she could come but I’m not sending her cash. All this because a dude got too excited and decided to buy them free drinks.

I’ve also realized that going solo is way better than going with a wingman who doesn’t know what he’s doing.
