"Just be confident, don't put her on a pedestal, and maintain strong eye contact" ... not only is this sort of thing obvious but it feels almost akin to telling a depressed person to cheer up or a homeless person to go buy a house. it's all well and good to build a strong mindset, but there's more to it than that. It also seems to be expected that if someone gains confidence, they'll suddenly just know how to walk and how to talk and be able to fill in all the blanks.

Either that or it's some extremely specific instructions about exactly how you must act and what you must say, which is shit for different reasons, mostly that it might not mesh with your character and leaves you feeling like an imposter.

There seems to be a lack of balanced practical advice - about certain topics or flirty games that have worked to build connection, date ideas, advice for escalating to foreplay once back at home, general etiquette surrounding casual sex (e.g. avoiding being overly intimate, letting them stay over, showering) etc things that I think would be most useful because it's not too broad or specific.

Anyone feel this way?
