In a seductive conversation there are two forces at work:

a) rapport/comfort b) tension

lack of rapport/comfort = She will not feel safe. You'll seem arrogant.
lack of tension = She will find you boring

In your concrete case: If you agree too much, you will seem boring - as an attractive women she is used to people agreeing with her opinions. She will not see a special connection in your ever present agreement. On the other hand, if you show no interest in her life and you have nothing in common, there will be no connection.

BUT: You don't have to fake your opinions. If you stay true to your self you will automatically agree in some cases and disagree in others. But keep in mind that most man have internalised to agree too much. They avoid confrontation too much ... and seem therefore boring ...

You can tell her something happened to you in the past or just today. Maybe a story related to the situation, an observation, an open ended question about somebody/something around you both, tell her something you can talk about and not boring. You can always change the topic, smoothly or not, to something she and ofc you might be interested. If you don’t have stories, you make up some. Use your friend’s, family’s stories as your own or something. If you can find nothing to talk about to that girl, you just should not talk to that girl. Its always best to be with someone you can have a connection with. Just connect with her, make her laugh, make her talk and listen carefully.

your overthinking it brother, just be honest regardless of if you like them or not , but liking the same music is a huge bonus and creates an easy route to connect to someone about something you both like , and if you both like opposite music styles this is a chance to have a playfull joke or tease at their expense or choice of music if this makes sense.

Questions like this baffle me, and they do because I'm curious about how you got here? So did you just go around perusing chicks and find one you found attractive, walk up and say...you're cute will you go out with me? Relationships, including dating are enhanced or suck because of mutual interests or absence of mutual interests. Idk how much you know about this person you are going to date. So the first thing I would do is ask her to tell her about herself. Where she grew up, things she did in school, her family, hobbies, all the things that make her who she is. During this time, you can also begin to identify crossover interests. Music, movies, the arts, sports, gaming workplace gossip. Here's where I'm going with this, and don't think I'm putting the cart before the horse, I'm speaking generally. So people begin dating someone they believe is attractive, their relationship becomes physical and the sex is off the charts for both. There are times when this happens and people agree to a long term commitment with someone they have absolutely nothing in common with other than sex. So this aspect of dating is vitally important.
