Why girls and people in general don’t like “too polite people” ?

I have noticed that girls and people in general don’t like too polite people.

I often use “could you please, excuse me, don’t you mind, etc” and often see that people start to get irritated and take advantage over it be it a waiter in restaurants or coworkers, whatever.

Contrary people who don’t use too much kind words, who sound confident and say like “pass it to me” . They get treated better than those who sound too kind.

Is that some rule?
