First mistake: asking her to define her relationship with you
Second mistake: asking her if she would ever hook up with you

Maybe she doesn’t know you enough to make a decision or maybe she’s been hurt in the past and is guarding herself

It's a definite maybe. You still have a chance.
But massive fuck up asking. Never ask a girl if she likes you, or would date you, or anything like that. Just make a move. If she rejects you, she doesn't like you. If she kisses you, then you can ask her after

We are long distance and haven’t met yet. I’m not going to ask her out until we meet but wanted to know if she was interested.

I would soft next this and come back when you are in the proper mindset. You essentially asked her if you are worthy of her. You need to be confident! You are the prize, not her.
It also sounds like you have oneitis. You need more options and you will realize this "one" isn't worth the time and emotional investment you are putting into it.

(Need as many opinions as possible) Asked a girl if she ever sees us being more than friends
Mission fail right out of the gate....never nice guy it and try to be friends...don't do that shit...
If she isn't romantically interested in you, bounce!
I never really thought about that,
That's a convenient white lie....she has thought about it...you don't want to know the answer
What do you y’all take from this?
Anything other than an unqualified yes is a hell no. She's not into you bud, but she's happy leeching off your time, money, dates, etc...

That answer is a flat out no!!! I asked a girl out while we were friends but she told me that she doesn't have an answer for me right now. We have been friends for a while but we had a relationship that was more than friends. I waited and thought... heck let's give it like 2 weeks..long story short she never gave me an answer even though i told her I could not wait any longer.
Her answer was that we would be dating but she didn't want the label....
Long story short.. she liked the attention but not the guy giving her the attention...

The context that you guys haven’t actually met yet is super important to this. I’d have a hard time giving a solid yes or no answer to someone I’ve never met before either. I’ve met up with some people who seemed really great online but we just really didn’t mesh in person.
