I personally completely deny that there are comfort tests at all. There are only shit tests and you have to fail some in order to give her something from time to time. The donkey won't react to the carrot you are wiggling indefinitely, if you don't give him a taste from time to time.

I also think that even if they existed, their existence should be absolutely ignored by newbies. When in doubt it's better to fail the comfort test than the shit test.

This is also very clearly a shit test to test your frame and she is probably already testing the waters with the guy.

She is being very disrespectful and testing you to see how you’ll react. Tell her

“John sounds super amazing! He must be your one true love!!!”

If she says something back tell her

“ It’s perfect, I’ll bring Mary from work and we can all go on a double date.”

Laugh and shake your head like she’s sayin something stupid, because she is.

She could be thinking about branch swinging or she could just be spending a lot of time with the guy BECAUSE of work and is just sharing her day with you. This one needs a little more time, where you continue to lift and smack her on the ass as she walks by.

Next time she talks about John, tell her that you met your ex on the way to work or some shit. Had coffee with her etc. Or do what my married friend did - keep two wine glasses out. One of them should have lipstick mark on it. When she asks just say your colleague came over.

By the time my main lady is doing something like this (and it has happened to me as well twice), it’s game over.

this behavior is more understandable early on when you first meet someone, but this is someone you’re married to. different game in marriage.

she’s challenging you’re very frame in a way that is disrespectful and scornful, passive aggressive, not committed.

and she’s definitely testing the waters with other dude.

Exact thing happened to me with an LTR, immediate branch swing a few weeks after these types of convos. She started staying latet at work, blah blah blah. I kicked her out of my place...gave me some bs sob story...told her to save the tears.

Here I am a few years later, a lot more valuable and a better person. Be prepared to walk away.

This is a tricky one with a wife. Some women will try this, you don't react so they give up. Others will escalate the bullshit if you don't react. The latter group are not suitable for LTR's.
