You can literally just take her hand. No excuse, no plot, just take her hand because you want to. Trust me, you´ll be amazed. You need to understand, if this girl knows she´s on a date with you, she wants to hold your hand, too. And if it´s too fast for her or whatever, she´ll let you know. If she doesn´t want to hold your hand at all, chances are you´re not a match.

Also, don´t make a big thing out of it. Just keep talking and take her hand.

I mean you can literally hold your hand out before crossing a road or something, making it clear you want to hold hands. I think it adds to sexual tension build up. When things are done tricky or too quickly, there’s no room for tension build up. I wish I knew this when I was younger as most of my first kisses were done as a quick thing to avoid the tension.

Just know that you don't need to hold the girl's hand. Like, it's not a complete necessity for things to go well. Other escalation is more important, but your goal should be to make her laugh/smile and just be all around comfortable
