While I will say that you probably were a little needy in the physical department, you likely have a closing issue. At some point you should have seeded the idea in her mind of going back to your place to do some kind of fun activity. This is to take the pressure off of sex. But she should still have a firm understanding that sex is on the table through the vibe.

You can kiss on dates and touch. But only do it so much as needed to be able to tell that she's 85% down to fuck you
If you do kiss her, don't try to go to your place right after. This again puts pressure on sex to happen.

Ugh, I'm reading this and it's like Im reading about myself years ago. The issue is being too touchy feely. You frame it as being a passionate man, but let me tell you, they see it as "a man who hasn't gotten laid in a while". It's a huge turn off because it signals a neediness that makes you come across as unattractive.

In the future, just pull back more, play more hard to get. Don't be all over them. Leave them wanting more. It is fixable but you need to be aware of it.
