I was in the dining hall of my university and I was in line to get my food. Saw this girl who was also in line but it wasn’t really clear who would be next, I offered to let her go in front but she insisted I go first. Went got my food and saw her at the salad bar, when I was about to leave I told her I liked her jacket.. she didn’t respond (and yes it was clear what I said). Walk of shame never felt so awkward but at least I said it I guess. For those wondering it was a white jacket with my college logo on it and it was a genuine compliment
