I usually exchange IG as that will give them a sense of my life and interests and more likely to start a conversation. If you don't have a decent IG definitely get the number

Yeah, I have ig, but I’m not big into social media like most people, definitely gonna go for the number. I for sure agree with your advice tho!

If you give them your number there's a chance they might not message you.
If you get their number it might not actually be their number.
So as there are cons there are pros to this as well. Its mostly just based on how your first impression is and whether or not you or them feel comfortable giving them your number or vise versa.
In MY opinion, I'd say offer to give them your number after getting comfortable enough.

Base it on how you feel. If it's super hot give your number and there's a high chance she'll text back. If it's not as hot ask for her number and game more.
Real talk either way is great if the chemistry is hot. A woman that wants you will text you.
