Not quite. This is a mating strategy women have been using for thousands of years. Initial eye contact is how women signal that they want to be approached. It's not confidence it's attraction. Pick up books by author Leil Lowndes to learn about flirting signals.

One major key component that every man on the planet must internalize is that women have a very real fear of being murdered by men. Do not diminish or dismiss this very real threat that all women face. Your job during the approach is to show her you can be trusted and aren't a creepy stalker. Make jokes and share personal things to get them to open up and ask them questions that showcase their feelings about things. What's most important during your approach is their body language. Is she facing towards you with open body language and seeming genuinely interested or turned away and showing closed off body language (again, Leil Lowndes).

If I were to Google not only would I have realised it’s a woman but I still would not have a reference point for what book would be recommended. Hence the question.

I’ve actually bought two books on two separate occasions based on recommendations here: models by Mark Manson and The female dynamic by another author who’s name I’ve forgotten and the book is still in shipping.
So are you gonna recommend a book or are you stuck in some weird emotional judgment mood?

Yeah kind of annoying of /u/NiNj4_C0W5L4Pr considering that her ladyship, Leil, has written many books. Not sure why they got so offended that you didn't know Leil was a woman. I most certainly typed Leil Lowden into Amazon and saw a ton of books, then came back here to look for any advice. Maybe it would be best to just start a new thread, considering how unhelpful this person is being?

Dude so I've been speaking to one of these crazy eyed girls and yea I'm puzzled. I got mad eye contact, I initiated and got her number some how, she liked my energy and slight game on text, we met, and next thing.. she doesn't speak a word. Everything I asked or did to create a conversation would end up with a dead end yes or no answer. Perhaps she was expecting me to grab her by the neck and just kiss her already..? No idea. she still showed interest after the first date tho so idk what she wants.
Maybe she's being a lil sneaky bih and trynna dig on me through what and how I say and do things.. That's the male version of the 'fear of being viciously murder' lol.
It's fine just stay calm and colected while interacting with them. It's your job as a man to ground out the awkwardness.
