If it goes awkward like you said, i would offer her to join them and all you have to do is polarise. Like i dont see a downside to it, you will meet new people and if you get their "approval" it's gona be easy sailing from there.

Well ask her on a second date anyway if you like her enough. Worst thing it could happen is she ghosts or says no.

“All you have to do is polarise”
What do you mean by this?

Basically be fun to be around with, witty, funny, sarcastic, kind, stuff like that . Be likable with a smile and dont be very reactionet to negativity from their side as they might give a few shit tests here and there.

Let’s say you were on a date and enjoying it when your friends show up, and you introduce your date and they then show highly antisocial tendencies. They distance and don’t like the intrusion VS instead they show interest, they chat it up with your friends and make jokes and they all like your date. Wouldn’t you want the charismatic partner rather than the socially awkward one.
We are social being after all. Social approval is a turn on, if you don’t have looks you can have personality. It’s important to have the whole package and be dynamic.
In this situation, you are in a win new friends mode. Funny thing, I’ve been on a few dates where this happens, exchange numbers with the group and become friends. Me and the partner don’t work out, maybe not even another date but the friends I’ve made along the way were actually more valuable.

That’s a good attitude. Keep your chin up and get it on the next one. You got this bud.

It's a bs tactic.
You end the date right there and leave.

Good question.
Some thoughts for your consideration:
-How would you feel is she were on a second date with you… but had her dog in the car and then took it out and proceeded to sit it in a baby stroller and talk to/give her attention to precious poodle?
Nothing the matter with having a beloved per - but this is a date night. She is every day of life to spend with the doggo but is also choosing to divide her attention instead of prioritizing you during the three hours she has with you this week.
Now in that situation, the conclusion is not that you did something wrong… and it’s not that you aren’t worthy or aren’t good enough. The situation is that for that woman, her interest level in her connection with her animal is greater than her interest level in her dating partner of the moment.
And the best thing you could do is - without getting mad or ugly or butt hurt - give your James Bond smirk, say “Well I’m gonna get going. Enjoy the rest of your evening, and stand and exit with your head held high…and still in your usual peaceful, relaxed, confident vibe.
Your energy doesn’t change at all.
And the same applies if a date “checks our” mental because she saw the homegirls walk in and she has more enthusiasm about joining Girl Time than dating partner.
(*Just don’t mistake it if you two are really hitting it off and getting closer physically for a little smoochie smoochie…but then her friends walk in and she’s suddenly distracted from kissy time, as in, wishing for privacy away from their eyes and judgment. If it may be the case that she just wants to go get coffee or a drink in a different venue where her friends aren’t there, then you ask if she’d be more comfortable relocating. If she says yes, go to another establishment with her.)

I don't blame them at all, it's gotta be difficult to stay on a date with someone when your best friends or friends that you haven't seen in a while are just a couple tables over
How do you know they hadn't seen each other in awhile? I was thinking that these friends were invited.
Would you just ditch the date if your friends showed up? It's rude. I could understand if the date wasn't going well but thats when you simply end it. Leaving was the right thing. Plenty of women don't behave this way. Date them

She probably knew they where coming. You planned the date right, so it should go according to what you planned. You did not plan a date for her friends right. She is dating you not her friends. Your time is important right. Stay on your table with her. If she ejects and goes over to her friends. She just broke your plans. Stick to your guns. You have nothing to prove to her friends. Remain calm & exit simple.

You should have seeded the pull early and planned on leaving the dat location within the hour in the first place - so stick to the plan - try to pull her from the venue back to your place - if she doesn't want to leave her friends - and spend one on one time with you - I'd just leave her and talk to other girls.
