Why is being a virgin at 17 an insecurity to you? For one it doesn't matter and like 95% of 17 year olds are virgins.

You never made anything clear to her, you can't be mad at her for maybe seeing you as a friend versus something more. I don't think it's a good idea to actively help her with her issue, let her do it herself. I also don't think it's a good idea to come clean while her state of mind seems intent on this guy.
