Even with the temporary highs and even when your approach is to “be yourself” as much as possible it can feel like an almighty mission
I was out tonight at a friends post wedding event, looking quite spruce if I do say so myself, and being tall and we’ll built I had an insane number of obvious openings to meet attractive women - be it via their body language, eye contact or even vocal cues… I wasn’t nervous in fact I was feeling witty and exuberant… I just could not for the life of me be fucked with everything that talking to an attractive girl entails inevitably and I was enjoying my nerdy conversations too much.
I didn’t even experience any regret upon getting home, and I’m finding myself more often deciding to read a book or catch up with a friend or something instead of game.
Not sure if this is an indication of maturity or depression or disguised anxiety.
Do you guys have many moments like this or do you go for most opportunities?
