Sorry for the wall of text but this needs a a bit of backstory .I was a 28 years old kissless virgin until about 2 months ago, when I started putting a lot more effort into dating and it's been working out since I did a lot of self improvement before that during corona.

Now I'm still a virgin but I kissed 3 girls, which is progress. The first one was very very interested in me, but I managed to run that attraction into the ground by being needy and never ending text conversation, so she ghosted me after the night of the second date.

After that I realized game is very important and read a lot of seduction stuff and thought I corrected all my mistakes, or at least the big ones. Then I met another girl I had an amazing first date, we kissed a few times and touched non stop and she was making plans for the future like we would be together, so I thought this was a sure thing. Well I contacted her after a few days and she said she wanted to be friends, as we were very different.

Now my question is, how do average guys get a girlfriend if seemingly any small mistake will destroy your chances?

Now I'm dating a third girl and we had a good first date, but I have this fear in my mind that I have to do everything perfect in order to get a girlfriend and that the smallest mistake means starting from scratch again.
