Friends and your game: Asset or Annoyance?

If you're the high-status person of your group, having your group of "chump" friends will only help to solidify your odds of getting a phone number, kiss and date.

Be that high-status man. Order (but don't pickup up any more than your share of the tab) the pitchers for the group, direct the conversation and make everyone unconsciously look to you for jokes, stories, etc. Say things like, "Jeff (your friend in this case), tell the story about how you ran across the free-way)" and then, when he's done, point to one of her friends and say, "Your turn for a story!" Take control of both groups, but in a lax way. Make decisions and subtly assert your dominance.

Of course, all of this means nothing if you don't escalate physically with the girl you are attracted to.

You should always be shooting for one on one. Having friends on there own at the same venue is chill but not with you in any way. Have them roll by, say what's up and move on. If she says she's bringing friends then it's ok to invite out a couple wings that won't blow you out.

I vote ANNOYANCE!! I am still struggling with the fact that many of my friends are chumps when it comes to the game. I have gotten my girl out and she has brought friends that I pin on my AFCs but they just fucking blow it and I have to entertain instead of have private conversation with my target. It sucks, and I have lost more than one opportunity because now the girl always brings her friends and I never get to easily sequester her from them. The chumps only get in the way most of the time, it isn't worth it. If anyone has the solution to this problem I would love to hear it.

If your wingmen aren't good at the game, leave them at home unless they are rockstars or something and give you ridiculous social proof.

I'm the alpha nerd... Yeah, I'm at the top of my social circle and that helps but I think they get more put off by my friends staring when I go talk to them.

I'd say it depends on who your friends are.
