Kinda a bad anaolgy imo, time is a rescource that after being spent, unlike money, cant be aquired/earned again, those 10 seconds of your life are gone, spent, youll never get them back because reseting an event isnt possible.

edit: considering time is a finite rescource why not focus on the important stuff like self improvment and having a good time first thats kinda how i see it at least

Every time this quote is used it loses more meaning. Money is nothing like the concept of time. Also in the month scenario someone just deliberately stole from you, what's to stop them from doing it again. It's the principle of it that matters

Yes I would raise a point after 10$ went missing. I know it seems like a little amount but if some one had your card details they might try 10$ just to see if it works then a much Larger amount soon after.

I know it’s just a analogy but always look into unknown transactions on your account so people make thousands a day skimming cards for low amounts.
