Just meet everyone man. The interaction was worth it because you had the courage but if you go out trying to find 1 girl who you didn't really connect with you're just going to be disappointed.

First of all, huge well done for having the guts to go over and talk to her! From what it sounds like though, you're more invested in her than she is in you. If she's a hot girl she probably gets lots of offers to do stuff with guys and is used to it, so is handling the conversation more casually. When you build up your experience and going up to talk to girls like this isn't such a huge deal, you'll find she begins to invest more in the interaction because she can tell you're not really that affected by her (which implies you're used to talking to super hot girls, which implies you're higher value because you're not needy). Think of it this way if someone wins the lottery, they're happy as fuck if they lose it (which the majority do after a couple of years) they probably end up more depressed than before because they don't feel able to ever replicate this. If Richard Branson starts a business makes millions then the business goes bankrupt I'm sure he's not happy, but he has the ability and the knowledge to start another business and get the money again if not more. At this stage getting a girl like that would be like winning the lottery for you, when you build up your skills a lot more and are more unreactive and in charge with a girl like that you'll be more like Richard Branson.

The thing is that you acted a bit incongruent. You obviously walked up and talked to her because you thought she was hot and that you wanted to meet her and see where things go. Yet you approached and asked about something completely random and unrelated, like "do you know some good places blah blah". You obviously didn't walk up to her to find out about clubs and partying, you walked up to her because you thought she was hot and you wanted to bang her. So next time just be honest with yourself, be genuine. Saying something very simple like "Oh, i just wanted to meet you because i thought you were cute/hot" will be MUCH better and genuine, and even if she won't respond well, she will still respect you for the balls that it took to say that, because she obviously knows she's hot. But most of the time they respond quite well to guys who are genuine.

After you say something simple like that, you can continue the conversation much less awkwardly, like asking if she's visiting there for a vacation or something, and going from there. So stop moving conversations onto random unrelated topics just because you think you have to talk about something and just be real and talk to the girl genuinely about stuff you actually want to talk about. It's too big of a subject to write about in a reply.
