It sounds like you're not really sure what seduction is about. I'll try to fill you in a little bit, but really you should read the FAQ.

1. Cheesy pickup lines are cheesy. Nobody thinks otherwise. The best advice given around here is be yourself*. If you're good at conversation, it shouldn't make anybody cringe.

2. The reason we look at ourselves for failure is because pickup is a statistics game. Sure there's nothing you can do to make a girl love you. But if you make yourself into the best version of you and approach 100 women, you're bound to have some successes. If you don't- you can't realistically just blame ALL the women! No, you cannot magically change women- but you've got 100% control over you. When you fail, the only thing you can do is tweak your approach and try again. Understand this doesn't mean the seducer is the sole person to blame- only that the seducer is the only person who can learn and change from a failure.

3. The points of game aren't here to make you feel comfortable or less cringey, they're here to illustrate what appeals to women. Obviously, as a culture, we're lead to believe that being romantic and beta is good and anything more aggressive or out-on-a-limb is cringe-worthy. Seddit is about breaking that barrier and realizing that the dating culture and beta-fem-centric culture we live in is actively against you getting laid. It's females sexual strategy to weed out the ones that aren't alpha enough- by telling guys exactly what they don't want is what they want. The chumps listen and go hungry.

*Except not the whiney beta version of yourself, be more confident!

I've never read any of the FAQs or books or articles, so I don't know all of the acronyms. I did my best to write in a sensible manner, a guide to dancing (not how to dance).
