I did all what seddit recommends and went out with a woman I really liked, and liked me back. We both were looking for a casual think originally. I started developing strong feelings and we had to end it, since she was emotionally unavailable and I couldn't simply hold a casual relationship with someone I felt that way for. So I didn't commit mistakes, in the sense that I had her attracted to me and wanting to sleep with me, but we still weren't successful together.

Did everything right but got "cock blocked" by her friend at the last minute as I was about to kiss her, and I couldn't try anything without that friend looking at us so I basically froze.

And after that it just went downhill, me and that girl had a real connection but she went on holidays the day after for 2 weeks so I just started idealizing her, and then it failed again (my fault this time)
