I know that much of the talk about approaches in this forum and in the seduction community has to deal with approach anxiety, but I wanted to discuss a different aspect of opening. Most people talk a lot about the 3 second rule, but this seems to be a silly concept devised for novices to get over AA. I think that not enough discussion is devoted to adjusting approaches based on social calibration. Is it really the best idea to approach a pair of girls that look like they are earnestly discussing something in a corner? What are some good strategies for making your openers seem smoother and more natural?
