I met a girl through a roommate at a wedding. She was gorgeous, fun, and seemed very attracted to me. The night went amazing. We danced, flirted, and long story short ended up have sex on a hotel roof top to the rising sun. It was crazy. Generally don't get to emotionally involved with women but this was different. We began texting/talking for weeks. Had an un fucking believable amount in common and she began spending the night pretty regularly. Even told my friends she wants to date me. One day everything changes. She becomes vague, starts bailing on me, and tells me she wants to "slow things down." So I agreed( big mistake) and we did just that. Stopped having sex, talked less, and I had a feeling things were doomed. The next week she comes over but does not stay. We have a passionate kiss I walked her to her car and then she leaves. We continue to talk and I ask her out to dinner. She agrees excitedly. The next night she was at a bar with some friends and asked if I would like to join. I agree, we meet up and have a pretty good time. She does not leave with me.. She texts me at 9am the next morning and says she did not feel the spark last night and doesn't see things working out. I expressed my sadness then said " whatever, maybe I'll see you around." come to find out that exactly when she wanted to slow things down she had a night with her ex, apparently they has sex and had started hanging out again. I've been upset for a few days but now I'm fine. I pose to you women of reddit. How can a women say she wants you for weeks and then change corse on a dime? This fickleness makes no sense to me. She claims to have feelings then bam! No more. Should I cut this girl I really care about off and forget about her? Or should inquire into this strange mystery and pursue someone who is most confusing. With any other girl I would say fuck you and continue swinging my proverbial dick around but for done fucking reason this ones got me hooked! I rejected multiple girls for this one!! Only to be shit on in the end. Think I'll get drunk now
